Speciesism
Compassion doesn’t end with cats and dogs – All animals are capable of feeling, pain, fear and joy. Animals of Our World fights for every sentient being and refuses to reduce any to “products” simply because our culture says their pain is worth our fashion or recipe.
Farmed animals at HOS
Our House of Strays sanctuary is home to four pigs (Percy, Wilbur, Babe and Poppins), a cow (Mary), two chickens (Mrs. Oats and Mrs. Barley) and two ducks (Dolly and Donald).

Veganism
Veganism is ‘the philosophy of rejecting the exploitation of animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.’
Doesn’t sound that “crazy“, does it?
But with billions of dollars spent on propaganda and subsidies to keep the meat, dairy, leather and fur industries alive, its easy to reject the truth to protect the comfortable idea that what is “normal” is normal.
Going Vegan
Without the right information, giving up eating flesh and drinking the hormone filled liquids meant for another species babies can seem hard.
You may have concerns about protein, men’s health, the climate, price, health, additives, vitamins, etc. but there is enough research to prove that eating vegan food (not celery juice or raw cabbage diets) bests omnivorous diets in every area. You only have to look at the smear campaigns against calling Oat Milk “Milk” to know that these cruel companies will do anything to keep you buying their blood-soaked products.

Activism
Some Vegans feel frustrated that they can see something many in the world cannot (leading to the “crazy” or “angry” stereotypes). While we don’t judge people who see the cruelty in the world as the “normal” it is presented as, we do try and educate.
With our set of vegan stickers (IMAGE BELOW), you can feel a sense of ______________
Theoretically they can stick perfectly to pizza, burger or sausage boxes in your local supermarket, but these are of course for your own personal educational use.
